We are the Two Reverends of OEMP Ministries. A little about us... from oldest to youngest:
Rev. Terry L. Wilkerson was born in Dover, New Jersey in the disco crazed year of 1975. Adopted at birth, he was raised by both his biological and adopted families. Living in a blend on catholic, southern Baptist, and atheist ideologies left the door wide open for Terry to discover his own beliefs. Bouncing from Catholic Mass to the spiritual gospel of churches throughout the American south and living in an area that actively celebrated the Jewish holidays exposed him to all sides of the religious spectrum.
Still, a solid set of beliefs eluded him. Upon finding his “faith” lay in science, Terry finally understood his path.
The future ULC accredited minister would soon meet (the also soon-to-be minister) Carole A. Graziano. She, originating from a catholic home but never fully engrossed in the ethos, understood his faith in science and epistemology and the two would soon start upon a journey together. One that was entirely new to both.
Originally, Terry sought his ministerial accreditation to advocate for the rights of same sex marriage, a platform he is still ardent about.
Rev. Carole A. Graziano (soon to be Wilkerson... if Covid allows) was born in Darby, PA a suburb of Philadelphia. She is at present 35 years of age. Although she was born and raised in a very Catholic household/family this path just didn't fit...
Raised by an amazing Father and Paternal Grandparents, Rev. Carole was taught unconditional love and was lucky to have a support system in place early on and throughout most of her life.
Approximately six years ago she stumbled upon the dating profile of Rev. Terry and pictured here is their very first photograph taken together in John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge in Tinicum, PA .
Shortly after the Two Reverends began dating an idea sprouted... that idea was OEMP - One Earth Many Paths. (More on that in our introductory section)
Reverend Carole can be described as an Eclectic Witch ... yes, Witch... she believes Nature to be her Church and that we humans and animals are connected by a great many things. Some could even use the word Omnist (a person who does not claim any one religion, practice or belief, but finds truth in them all) to describe her as she believes there is no "one superior religion/faith/belief".
When looking at Carole's past you will find a great many mistakes and a great many things that she is definitely NOT proud of BUT these mistakes and past misdeeds taught her a great many lessons and so though not proud she is most definitely not ashamed and sees no reason to hide away her past.
In case you were wondering, here are some "fun facts" about Carole:
Her favorite colors in no particular order are Black, Purple, and Red.
Weaknesses/vices include but are not limited to: Smoking, Smoking (not a typo) ;), food, and the occasional drink.
Rev. Carole considers herself a writer and bit of an artist. She enjoys writing short stories, poetry and absolutely loves painting! You will see some of her works on this very site in time!
The Two Reverends are pleased to have the opportunity to learn and share this One Earth with its Many Paths with you. We are all "guilty" of being different versions of ourselves in different settings... to see a more direct, serious, even "crass" version of the Two Reverends check us out on www.TerryWilkerson.com - if you fall down the rabbit hole and find yourself on TheRamblingsOfBionicCarole (a podcast brought to you by 1028 Media and 1975 Productions) PLEASE do not listen via headphones/earbuds and please do not listen around children. Reverend Carole is working on toning/calming down and minimizing her cussing.
Please feel free to contact Reverend Terry L. Wilkerson via e-mail at Terry@TerryWilkerson.com or Reverend Carole Graziano at cgraziano126@gmail.com with your musings, questions, or suggestions.
Prayer requests can sent via text only (phone calls will not be able to be answered) to (267) 272-7048.
